IMC is one of the 21st Century Frontier R&D Program sponsored by Korea Ministry Of Commerce, Industry and Energy. It addresses to the development of intelligent microsystems, which have high potential markets. Global market annual growth of microsystems is in the range of 16~21% according to market analyses.
The main target products of IMP are biomedical devices such as an endoscopic microcapsule and a micro biomedical diagnostic system. In light of IMC’s basic strategy, which is to develop world-leading products in the field of bio-medical market, the moving target approach is adopted.
